    Can I use a Toshiba 8 gb microSd memory card can I use it for updates and recordings for my 899? It has the adapter.

    Should be of I use a 32 GB San Disk in my 899

    yes, you can get 16gig with adapter for around $7 at any walmart

    Formatting the card before use in the HB unit can be a good practice ...Always use the Full format and not the quick format ...

    This can be done be in HBPC (which is a free download in your HB account) ...

    Or you can use this free SD Card formatter from the SD Card Association ...

    It's also a good idea to remove the updates from the SD Card and store them on your PC for later possible use ...
