Here are a few pix of how I had to mount it, so it wouldnt interfear with my Cumblerland crappie T bar or hang over the side of the boat.
I tryed mounting mine according to Moto guides instructions, and You can clearly see how it would of hung over the side of My BT pt175, I dont think MG thought about the sharp angle of most bass boats bowls when they created them. I ended mounting it back away from the center line of the boat, which included relocating the bowl light and left the original Tm holes which I bought some plastic plugs to hide, Ive only had my boat out once since installing and didnt have any issues docking the boat or winching it up on the trailer, and I was by myself on a windy day, all and all I love the thing and cant wait to use it on a regular basis.

I made the clamps today to clamp the coil air hose to the motor and to the shaft under the head.
I will be going to the lake next weekend I will install and get some pictures to post
I might come up with a sliding mount later I own a CNC machine shop and can make about anything.
First I need to finish my all adjustable easy to stow spider rigging set up before I leave for Mississippi

I've yet to see a tm that didn't stick out past the bow a bit. I don't understand how one could foul on a roller while loading/unloading. The roller should be below the bow. Could you be backing the trailer too far into the water? Does the front roller have a height adjustment? I have a Minn Kota that's been on three different boats and had to mount it to where it stuck out on each one. I can't see the problem is much different than most other TM in the history of Tms.
Give us a more consise description of the xi5 issues.

CR,WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT IS RAMPS THAT ARE STEEP,EVEN BACKING IN A LITTLE WAYS THE ANGLE IS WRENCH IS HIGHER THAN BOW OF BOAT,NO PROBLEM ON SLANTED RAMPS

I am running the Lowrance HDS touch 9's front and back. Console unit connected to the LSS ducer off the back of the boat. Get my side image from that. I have a DI ducer mounted under the Xi5 for the front unit. So I can get my DI off the front.
I put the DI ducer wire in the coil air hose and have made the clamps to mount that to the Xi5. Will get photos next weekend.

I agree reaper. I put the MK Terrova on the tracker like in the pictures and it did hang over the front. I had shortened it so it was not so tall and that helped the head from hanging over the side so much.
And then the cover never did fit the boat as good as it did before. But you have to give some were.
And yes if you back the trailer in too far you will have issues and a chance to get into the TM.
This type off motor has to hang over because of the way they deploy. if they would fold up like a regular motor then they would not hang over. The sliding plate would help the hang over part.

GENE, SORRY , I no I keep bothering you, but I've got another question? I was looking at one of the pictures you posted and noticed your trolling motor lower unit was stowed with the propeller turned in the opposite direction from the way it comes from the factory. This is important to me to no if I can stow the trolling motor turned like in your picture.this will determine how I mount and run my transducer cable. One more question also, after I calibrate the trolling motor, then start using it on the water, will there be times that it will want to go past 180° while it's in spot lock mold? Sorry for all the question, but I've been really busy (llot of stuff going on lately) so I I've not had the time that I usually would have to figure this stuff out myself. Thanks
