    Default Cover

Just bought and mounted a HB 899 on front deck with Ram mount. I am looking for maybe a neoprene or gortex material that would cover the whole unit. Front, back, sides and top that would tie/velcro/zip at bottom. Looking for it trailering boat from rain and mainly dust!! Have to go down some rocky dust roads that covers boat with dust. Not sure if anyone makes and sells something like this or maybe any ideas. Thanks

I don't trailer my boat with electronics attached ... old habit from back in the day. But, I'd tie a plastic grocery bag around it, until something can be found or made, so you can still use it in the meantime.

I have an HDS 10, I bought a neoprene laptop case, size large,. fits perfect and snug. zips on 3 sides with one zipper. I cut a small hole in the sides for the mounting brackests and a small one in the back for all the cords. I just unzip, fold it under the graph. it never comes completely off. I would do it over and over again.

You could also buy a "dry bag" and place t over the unit when needed. You can even modify it by cutting it down to size and attaching an elastic band to stretch and fit over unit to hold.
These bags are great to keep water out and can be used to keep things dry when you aren't using it on the sonar.
