I am in the process now, going from a 12v to a 24v on My Tracker, and realizing the boat just had a one bank charger has added another fly in the ointment. I bought a quick release mounting plate too, that I may end up not using, so if You are in the market for one I may be listing it here. What type of boat are You mounting it on? I havent made it to the bow yet

Don, do you have issues with the trolling motor sticking out as far as it does? I've seen your picture before and it got me thinking that on some ramps, if I had the xi5 mounted on my boat, it would hit the front roller while launching the boat.

Genec, did You make that mount? it looks like it not only elevates the mount, but slides forward. I am a bit leary like Cosmos is about ramming into something weather its the roller on My trailer or a dock on a windy day, maybe I just worry too much. One other thing I've noticed is guys are making supports to rest the shaft on when not deployed, I am wondering what is being used? and why there is'nt a aftermarket brace by now.
