"rnvinc" you were right on GPS fix
Had this today on GPS...much better. Fix Type went to Enhanced and other two went way lower. Have some video but still working on it reference to that new spot I went too. Thx for the info.

The units will do that automatically (if they can track one of the WAAS satellites that is).

If I remember correctly ...:
2d fix means the receiver has enough data for latitude and longitude
3d fix means the receiver has enough data for latitude, longitude, and altitude
Enhanced means all 3 plus at least 1 WAAS satillite ...

I check my yesterday and it had the 3d fix,is this a good fix.

LittleJohn when mine was showing 3d fix I was still hitting my waypoints and find my structure from the bow unit. The only thing that was most noticeable was the higher numbers in the HDOP and pos error. Enhanced just gets you that much closer.
