    Note the big Gap in the middle? That's for my Rolling Rowing seat. It rolls back and forth between the seats.

    Re; The Transducer. Would you cut a hole in the boat and make a Shoot-thru, or hang it off the stern?
    Both my FF's are cheapies. Less than $100. (those Cost Reduced models)
    I row. I doubt if this boat will ever have a motor on it.
    I just wish I could be better at fishing. Or maybe luckier!:D

    Get you one of the little suction cup mounts that come with the portable units. Then if you want to move it its really easy

    Seems by your description you may be rowing this boat ...which means you would be facing backward ...

    I agree with Greg ... Xducer (and head unit) at the stern ...

    Simple way would be to mount the xducer to a board and C clamp it to the transom ...
