Looks like 8-13MPH in the first section, 00 in the second regarding heading, and I don't see speed in the tracking log section. If you click the link, you can full screen.
Before I make a description....
Correct me if I missed it but I never saw the boat icon move or "drift" backward... But always moved in the forward "course" direction...??

But the screen was still moving at 00 even with the 10hz model. Also, if you stop on the same heading as you were previously traveling there is nothing to indicate it changed. I'd like to see the same thing but with boat turning very slowly. Even the older HB gps track that well at 8-13mph so not real sure the reason for the post.
Here is where the description of "Heading" vs "Course" comes in ...
"Heading" is which way the boat is pointing...
"Course" is which way the boat is moving...
This is also where the compass comes in...allowing the unit to know which way the boat is pointing (heading)...
With the HS.... I can pull up to a waypoint (into the wind)... Get off the TM to "drift" the boat backward in the opposite direction ...and the boat icon will continue to show that my bow is pointing toward the waypoint on the chart....even now that my "course" is going backward on the display....
This same scenario with a non-HS antenna....I can pull up to a waypoint (into the wind)... Get off the TM to "drift" the boat backward in the opposite direction ...and the boat icon will turn around to show pointing away from the waypoint on the chart ....even now that my boat's bow is actually still pointing into the wind toward the waypoint ...
