    Question PVC Board

A friend gave me a piece of what he called PVC board. I have never heard of PVC board. Would this be good to mount to the transom for tranducers to attach to? It is 1" thick.

It sounds like its made of the same material as PVC Pipe. I would have to say YES.

    Shop 3/4 x 8 x 8 PVC Board at Lowes.com

I've used this in the prototype phase of projects...

It is plastic...it is easy to work with...

Although it's not a really dense hard plastic ... It is probably hard enough for mounting an xducer to the transom...

Thanks for the replies. I cut it down to size and mounted it to the transom. Will attach the TD tomorrow.
