    Default Humminbird 997 update is here V6.300


    new version is here. I just downloaded it. I haven't had time to check it out yet.
    Release date is 5/23/12 but I got it today

    Loaded it up and seemed to load in same time as previous update. This extra real estate is a big plus for this now legacy unit. First DI now full SI. We have got a lot of mileage out of this unit and they keep adding more. Not sure there is much tread left but I would like to say BIG UPS to Bird! They listened. Now if we could only have an option to get rid of that doughnut. I know I am GREEDY

    How did you get the numbers view like that in SI mode

    nevermind, found it. SI numbers off or something like that in the main menu not quick menu
