Tom.. Those fluffy looking stuff looks like baitballs....
And that shadow out to the left could be from the tree you and I discussed in pm...

I've got that same pic opposite side. Mine appears to have some fluff in the water column as well.

Right side is a ball of shad.
Did you get this pic? It was near where you were at. Don't know what this is.

Looking at again .. I think the fluff in the water column is bubbles...was there a lot of boat traffic there ?

Something still seems amiss Tom...The bottom should be clearer than that...

Go under the "Sonar" Tab to "Transducer Select" and make sure it is set to "Hi Def Sidescan"...

(I'm assuming you have the HDSI xducer)..

okay will double check that. RCC went today and glad I had rain gear!!!! I ended up with 11 and left at 1030 wet. But I was more interested in getting this unit dialed in as this was my second outing since its install......
I got a pic of the concrete siphon at dam with fish stacked on it though.

It's tough fishing and messing with the toys at the same time. That sure looks like the siphon to me. Didn't do the math for the gps conversion to make sure, but it appeared to be pretty close in GE.

Sounds like you had a pretty good day. How was the wind?

Black is the concrete overflow. Circled is a coupla shad balls. A few rocks on the bottom, 4 crappie to the right, and a big gar on the left side.

rickie, that may be what im calling fluff. when I slowed down and kept boat speed and chart speed within 1 of each other the pics were a bit better. maybe it is bubbles. RCC I didnt even look at the far left image, thanks
