    Oxygen infused water ...like turbulence or propwash... Can really cause images to be fuzzy...

    I've gone behind a passing boat (into his propwash) and my screen has went totally white....

    If you are getting clearer images in other areas of calmer water... Then this image is bubbles....

    Sonar reflects off of bubbles...

    very good pics, thanks kosmo. That "fluff" i seem to have had in the first pic must me prop wash.....

    That has to do with your sensitivity. It is set high so it will show more cloudy water.
