Hey Tom, is there any reason these wouldn't work to control a trolling motor's speed? DC 12V-36V 25-100 AMP, High Current DC Motor Speed Controller (PWM) Provided of course you got the right amperage.

Mine was to fast. It was a 24V and I hooked it up 12V. Slowed it down, still a little fast. I would love to have an infinite amount of speed control. It looks to me like it would work. Let us know if you try it.

Should work. You might hear the TM motor squeal some at certain PWM frequencies. It is not moisture proof and is not an isolated fet circuit. Good price.

You can modify the minn kota control pwm board to work with any motor too. They are waterproof and have isolated fets but they are a little pricy. The minn kota Fundamental is 20 Hz.

I don't need one but this question comes up a lot. Minnkota use to make a box just for this called a Maximizer. You can find one on E-bay every once in a while.

I had a maximizer for over 15 years ,haven't use it in many years, got it when they first came out. Work fine on 12 volts motor, don't know where it is now. Didn't know they still made them.

They don't. The ones on E-bay are used.
