    For those who will be updating their HB units with the new software releases...

    It's always a good idea to have a copy of your present version of software on a separate SD card in case something goes awry in the new software....

    I think mabe casting rings,North up indicator.If I can even get the updates for the old 1197.

    I think the auto SI range would be the best for me. Not as much button pushing buttons as you go from deep to shallow. Now the question is what ratio will they lock it down to 3:1??? I use 5:1 a lot so I hope that variable can be adjusted.

    I think the video explained that the SI range will increase in :

    1 ft increments in depths from 6 - 50ft
    5 ft increments in depths from 50 - 150ft
    10 ft increments in depths from 150 - up

    It looked like the unit was set on 100 side range while in 18.7 ft of water...
