    Default MinnKota Maxxum?

Was wondering if there is a way to tighten the foot control up on a maxxum? Have to keep foot on pedal all the time to keep it from turning and can get old after a while. The cables do not have slack in them but it just turns a little to easy for trolling.

If I remember correctly....there should be a cable tension screw under where the power wires attach to the foot pedal..

Tightening this screw will help in the free play of the turning...but it will also make it more tiresome on your leg if you get it too tight...
