Best hundred dollar finder I have seen is my old lady. No matter where I hide a benjamin she finds it.
My tm finder is officially dead. It was a Humminbird Pirhanamax...something. It was also around a hundred bucks. Although I don't have unrealistic expectations for finders and do believe that you get what you pay for, my boat is an '82 Ranger. I just can't spend 25% (or more) of the boats value for a finder. I have been eyeing the Garmin Echo 150. Does anyone have any experience with this unit? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
If you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can generally count on Paul's vote.
I would spend a little more and go with the HB 500 series, they are good units for the cheaper price range.
The Eagle Fishmark 320 or 480's are pretty good, you might have to find one on ebay used though. Not sure if they still make them.
It's all over but the fryin'......
Lowrance, HB and Garmin all build one in that price range and i suspect they would all be of equal quality.
