    Default Hand held GPS

Interested n a hand held to mark brush! Anyone have any recommendations?
Ive looked at the Garmin Dakota 10 & 20 and Oregon 440, 440T, and 550. Both nice but pricey

I have a Garmin Etrex Legend (blue) I'm trying to get rid of if you are interested in a used unit.

Go with the GArmin Etrex. Ihave a friend who uses it and it's very accurate. It's not fancy, but it's cheap and works. I spent over $350 on the Lowrance H2Oc and it is terrible!!!! Trust me!!!! I took it to Pickwick last week and it took it over 30 minutes just to locate itself! Then, it lost the signal!

I have had many over the past years never that happy with any of them. I had the Lowrance H2OC and it was OK, sold it after a few years. Thought I would move up a little got Lowrance touch screen Endura, touch screen sucked so did the rest of the unit and got rid of it real quick. Just got a Garmin Etrex last week and am very happy with it, very simple and very basic unit seems to be very accurate. Best of all Amazon has them 80.00 and that includes shipping, that was about a week or so ago. Can't beat that price....Thumbs Up

Have had the garmin etrex, it worked ok. Have Garmin 76 now and love it. Cost about twice as much, but I would still recommend going that route. That said, don't think you can go wrong with any of the Garmin gps.
