Tmike, CP probably had some role in creating GPS, are you really catching what the problem is?

A lot of the users on here have owned both units, and discuss a lot of different things about both units. I appreciate the info you give about the units and Doug too, but I also understand that you are both hired help from HB as they sponsor you and Doug. Me and Stymie have an understanding, so I'm glad he's your hero for what he said. That just shows that it's about sales for you, and that shows what your purpose here really is. Hopefully you won't get our electronics board split in HB and Lowrance like you did on BBC.

Let's just see you put your sponsorship powers to work to get this donut corrected, and you'll have helped sell more units for your company.

Barnacle, If you feel the need to modify this, please do so.

And gawd forbid, if you have the map screen set up for Course Up, that screen will be hopping around like crazy.

I just want the problem fixed so I don't haveta haul extra stuff to the boat every time I go out. 2+ years and still complaining.

I have called plenty times about the donut. I bet you all know this though.

I don't troll at .5mph so bass guys don't have an issue like alluded above. I have fwd'd this post to the powers that be at Humminbird in hopes that they will accommodate your needs.

Sorry, I forget the names and don't have my manual handy, but you can do a waypoint target? or trolling grid? and the distance between the circles or lines is equal to the map scale.

With the HDS you can measure between objects on the down/side scan pages and also on the chart page. It can be a way points, two stumps, any two points of interest.

You can't duplicate (or near duplicate) that track at .4 mph using the Humminbird GPS. I do know a few things myself.
