I guess this was to represent confusion???? Do some searchs on SLOW GPS yep same guy different name.......
jax..I personally appreciate what you have done in the past since 8/25/08...(and thank you for putting this issue on the sideimaging.com wish list)

I can assure you that there are newly presented things going on behind the scenes that are addressing the "Donut"...all the more reason for us (the customer) to do what we can to push this "movement" along...

I am sincerely hoping (now that more HB users experience the donut) that we can get a constructive hands on "movement" going to get HB to address the "donut"...

It's obvious from the "HB Wish List" items that have been fixed by HB that HB does listen to it's customer base (on fixable wishes)...IF they scream loud enough...

I truely feel HB can and will fix this simple software fixable issue....

If we collectively flood the HB airwaves (e-mail, phone calls, forum chatter, etc) we can get loud enough for HB to listen....

    Patience and perserverence....

Default If you are trying to decide to buy hb or lowrance....

You (the prospective SI buyer) can help "Project Donut" by phoning or e-mailing HB and telling them that the "Donut" is The biggest issue issue in your decision on whether to buy HB or Lowrance...

    HB customer service...Toll-free: 1-800-633-1468
    Monday - Friday
    8:00am - 4:30pm CST

    HB email.... [email protected]

I realize it would be a lot to ask of anyone that hasn't even decided whether to buy HB or Lowrance....but...

If you are already leaning towards HB and are concerned about how the "Donut" will affect you...your efforts can play some pretty big influence on the HB "higherups" if they realize they may be losing prospective customers simply because of the "Donut"...

For every HB user that hates the "Donut"(and maybe even you in the near future)...

I thank you for your support....

Good luck. I got an HB in the closet because GPS sucks. Maybe it will "come out" one day.

The bass boards are not aware of the "Donut" because they seldom use their GPS at speeds below 0.5mph...crappie fishermen do...

You would think those bass guys that use a drop shot in open water would be aware of the O

They're use to going around in circles. That why we get the donut. Appeasement.
