I have read where on the PD's even the co-pilot makes the foot petal in-operative unless it is removed. I'm happy to say I just finished ripping out all the old wires, removed the front running light and replaced with a post designed running light so it can be seen over top of the stowed trolling motor, replaced/rewired the front DF. I did take the I-pilot control and checked out the preliminary stuff to make sure the controls work, but didnt pull the boat out of the shed to pick up any GPS coords. Hopefully everything checks out OK and I'll get a chance Monday to play with it on the water some. For now...I'm back in the house nursing a bad cold so I can get back outside to play.:o

I just went out and tried my remote in the ram mount for my Garmin GPS. It holds it really well.
I have the terrova auto pilot now. to go to i-pilot what do i have to purchase to upgrade and I still want to have control with foot pedal.

you just need the i-pilot with the terrovas you can still use the foot pedel
It is for a 400I and it fits pretty tight. I am gonna take my remote with me to BPS later and see if they have one that fit's any better.
I tried running my troller with just the co-pilot functions in the wind today and it was something you had to stay on top of if you wanted a maintained speed. But after engaging the cruise control you could practically forget about the troller after that. DEFINITELY go with the I-pilot.
