Take battery out and rub it then reinsert it and see if that will help. Worked for me.
I have a 112# Terrova remote that has stopped working. Unit is less than 6 months old. I had been using it and turned it off before motoring to a different spot. When I was ready to use it again it would not power up. It had a full charge on it. Is there a way to reset the remote? I was hoping that I would not have to send it back in to Minnkota.
Thanks

If you have the new version of the I-Pilot remote you may not need the "N" on the battery number. I opened mine up to change the battery and the factory battery did not have the "N" number.
As I found out later they must have changed the battery holder on the new model and the "N" is not needed. This makes it a lot easier to find a new battery. Walmart had the battery that fit mine.
You might want to check to be sure that it is seated all the way down too.

I have a Terrova 80lb with iPilot that is just over a year old and have no complaints, it works great. I am planning on upgrading my electronics and want to move up to the Link system. Looking at the prices, $800 to get the new head/remote onto my current TM versus $1700ish for a completely new setup. Recommendations? Any known issues in swapping heads? Thanks!

I upgraded from the ipilot to the link. Easy to do and not 1 problem!

You could sell your old unit off the Terrova and recoup some of the money spent on link set up.

New trolling motors use to come with a set of well nuts. I can't remember if they still do or not.

I never liked well nuts because they deteriorate over time. Even sucks more when you try to remove them.
