Thread: lowrance hds-8

bought this unit along with the 4000 antenna the end of march. antenna was bad out of the box and unit went bad first trip. sent it in, they said it was bad, of course they did not have any to send. kept after them, they said they would get them 1st week of june. started emailing 3 people last week, (multiple times every day) finally heard from somebody today. now they won't have them till august. sure not the same since navico took over.

I have the hds5 and knock on wood i haven't had any problems and mine has the internal antenna lots of people told me to get the external antenna but i haven't had any problems losing signal I hope everything works out I know i would be mad as heck if i spent that kind of money and not be able to use it thats not worth a dam.
