I never got to meet Keith but we talked a lot by PM. He was a good friend to me here on the site. He asked me for some help a couple of times and we became friends. He is missed.
Getting some stuff together for Saturday morning. Been thinking about Keith alot. I miss him. Was thinking about him Tuesday night while watching the Minotour Rocket go up from Wallops Island. Anyway, Keith gave me a rod/reel combo before he left us. My first ever St. Croix. I keep a jig/grub on it. It doesn't go out much. I don't keep it in the rod box cause I don't want it getting dinged up. Well guess what............it's coming to Buggs on Saturday. And I'm going to catch some fish on it. I have some of Keith's Dads hand poured lead heads he gave to me when we went catfishing on the James. Thinking a PanDad jig and a Tapout Money grub. Micky, what would be Keith's favorite grub color?
Keith, I do miss you. Hang out with me some one Saturday. You were a good friend to me. I'll be looking for a sign.

When I came out to the NW river bash, you took me over and introduced me to him. I was glad to be able to shake his hand.
Well, that get the wheels turning, and I just realized another Bash face that left us. Bill's partner Roy. He never said much, but I fished around them down past Junk Man's curve at Buggs during one of the Bashes on Buggs. I do know he always looked happy. Kinda like Snow White let two of her friends out for a day. Grumpy and Happy. Heck, I even saw Roy catch fish. Big grin either way. I know them two guys spent many a day out there together. Good pals are all too rare.
Good Speed Roy.
Fellas disappearing for sure. Last time I talked to Kieth he told me he bought a John Deere lawn mower trying to get a dig in on me. It was at his last NWR Bash. I told him I felt sorry for him because he had bought an inferior lawn mower and he laughed. He left us too soon and for those that remember him here but never got to meet him in person, all I can say is You missed out. PanMan was a good guy and will be missed.CF

Keith was in a class all his own. I only had a few brief conversations with him at a couple of Bashs so Ididn't know as well as some of the others here. Two summer ago, my summer from H$%^ when I was in the middle of the divorce, trying to find a place to live, lost my dog and working out of town all the time, I get a short PM "Hang in there, things will get better". By then he had to know his fate but he still took time to think of others.
Definately a great one!! I fished with him on the chick after the chick bash was rained out and he taught me alot about electonics and how to use them. They dont make many like him for sure!!!!
GO VOLS AND TITANS!!!!!
