SCHOLTZ, Nathan William, 27, of Tampa, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012. He was born in Clear-water, Florida on August 27, 1984. Nathan was raised in Tampa and graduated from USF. He moved to Gainesville to be with family and pursue a career in professional crappie fishing. His other love was baseball, as a player and a lifelong Braves' fan. He is survived by his parents, Richard "Rusty" Scholtz, Jr. and JoAnn Fisher Scholtz, his brothers, Richard Scholtz, III and Joseph Scholtz, his grandmother Margaret Scholtz, his uncle Jeffery Scholtz, and aunt Barbara Rivera and uncle Henry Rivera. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street, Gainesville, FL. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with Stephen Lewis officiating. Tribal burial rites will be performed by Ceremonial Chief Charlie Diebold. Burial will follow in Countryside Cemetery.
