If you’re talking about a single color to get started, that’s fine it only cost eight bucks for a bottle of it but the molds gonna steal cost you around 100 bucks plus the injector 80 some bucks plus a microwave oven in Pyrex cup so you’re still looking at over 200 bucks.

Bait plastic we use the medium that they offer. They have quite a bit of different stuff on there. Also is your colors a few molds in this and that glitter make a 30 some dollars a gallon oh bye-bye 5 gallon for 140 or so.

Fat Guys Fishing make some excellent starter kits that come with everything you need to start making baits. You even get a mold.

How often should you stir or shake you supply of plastic in storage? I noticed my dead on is separating. Clear on top and white on the bottom. I know I need to get my butt in gear and use it up. Thanks

The only time did I screw it when it separate in the gallon jug is when I use it. I got a stirring rod like you use for paint, but it’s smaller to put inside the jugs and use your cordless drill to stir it up when I get ready for it, do not worry about the plastic getting too old just because it’s separating does it mean there’s no good or you have to constantly stir it you don’t have to, call me when you get ready to use it

I use a old arrow as a stirrer. Chuck in the drill and stir the plastisol well works everytime.
