    Default Working with leather paint


    Working with leather paint on our plastics something I found out by accident also we are using it to put eyeballs on our jig Head.
    The paint comes in quite a few different colors.

    Sweet! PM how you found this idea and where I can get some. Very creative my friend. Neat way to store and use your fly tying bobbins too.

    Mike I found the paint on eBay we were looking for something else and stumble across the paint. And believe it or not it is water-based but it doesn’t wash off I believe I have eight different colors.

    hmmmm. At such a low price there might be a lime chartreuse, red, white and a black leather paint in my laboratory very soon. Thanks for the idea.

    Have fun Mike we are still working with it haven’t quite figured out how to put real fine lines on my Bait and make them look good so why might have to make a stencil of some type.

    Saw a plastic bait with the Wonderbread pattern on it. They must've used this paint to do it. Seems labor intensive, but that pattern is very popular here.
