As usual I have to test new design ideas using the parts of different plastic lures. After having received 3" Mr Twister curl tail grubs, I decided they were a bit large for what I wanted them for but still had use for body and tail sections. This hybrid was made by cutting the curl tail to create two flapping tails by attaching them to the body of the grub using a candle flame:
This idea produced many panfish which I used for the 3" Mr Twister grub body, adding a spike tail(no photo):
It caught many fish when the bite got slow and the spike tail will be added to 2" Mr Twister grub bodies when I get them in.
Another hybrid used a Ring Worm segment and a thin molded worm:
It also did well.
I like that upper one maybe they’ll make a mold make those .
