Does anyone have this and the tail mold I was wondering how they worked and if anyone had pics of the 2 color baits the pics on Jacobs site make it look like the tail mold is pretty long and wouldn't leave much room for the head color.

I press down on the tail where I want the color to change and tear the reast of the bait out of the mold. Close mold and reshoot the front. Done 100's of baits this way!

I have the 2" paddle tail mold and do what ifish does. I pour the tail color, clip it off the body and leave the tail in the mold, and then pour the body color. Its works really well. Here are a few I have done in the 2". I like leaving a little body behind for a better bind point.
I wanted the 2" but his site says the tail mold is for the 1 3/4 and the 3" i'm glad to know it works with the 2" as well....thanks guy's for your time and help.
p.s snake I have tried several times over the years to contact rick with zero luck.....

You guys are ahead of me. I pour, take baits out, cut and return the tail to mold. I will be using your method next pour. Should just purchase a tail mold!
