    Default Soft Bait Eyes

Recently you guys have been adding Eyes to your baits and it makes them look SOOOO AWESOME!
My questions are; 1) where to get them? I've researched and found many @ way different prices
    2) Using glue for initial stick?
    3) What are you using for the clear coat?
I know it's prolly a newbie question...But the way you guys inspire me...... Just trying to keep up

I can tell you that the really good ones are not glued on. In fact, they are molded in place.

Without getting too technical (in case they do not want the secret told)

The bait is poured with a negative in the mold that creates a cavity in the bait.

I set of eyes is poured or shot in after the fact.

    Thanks Wick!
I deconstructed some baits with the solid 2 eye piece
I was kinda more leaning more of something after the fact...So if I needed to; I could just pour a new mold to accommodate the eyes...
(I don't think I have the skill to do it any other way)
That's why I was asking about the clear dip My process thinking is Shoot my baits, put on the eyes.. and clear over
    OR
Shoot my Baits add eyes and Make new mold for eye indents Add the eyes and dip
I hope I didn't confuse you as much as I did to myself

the eyes have adhesive so you peel them off and stick them on your plastic body in dipped them in clear plastic doesn't matter whose plastic simple as that. please note if you are doing a lot of bodies with eyes you will go through them pretty fast. click on the link to go to their website.

I use 3-d eyes for swim baits. Flat eyes for jig head. I just use plastisol that I use for making baits. I like the eyes that have glue on them. Put the eyes on the bait and drip in the hot plastic. When done I add colorant and flake and make baits with the leftover.
