Looks like an open pour? A year ago I had a phone conversation with the originator of the Hal Fly he's in his 90's has a automative machine that ties the jig before it's poured he offered the machine to me ??? I plan to drive to his home to see it first hand.

I had one of those machines and I didn't like it but they are good many of the commercial people that do flies have them it was faster for me to put the jig A vice . It was part of the stuff that I bought from Keith when I bought him out .

You could make jelly Jigs if you got some old plastic Baits you can turn the tail off and use the body and take a needle in pool feathers through the body and stick your Jig hook into it . Go to the top of the page under trans and click on jelly jigs.and if you were wanting any mold for a different style of jelly jigs go to Jacob's baits .

I have been messing with that a little bit. It works but it is no where close to as neat as the jelly jigs. That's what I do right now. Thanks snake.

    These look cool
Some look like they're tried on after the jelly body has been threads. Others have the material needled through the jelly first.
    Correct?

Keith and Jessica Pace were a great help and inspiration to me as I continued working on my Pinmin and Tear drop soldered ice fishing lures. I hope they are reading this thread. Thank you my friends.

Don't know what the hub bub or fuss is about this style of bait all the sudden but if you're looking for a jelly jig mold Jacobs Baits has several(1/32, 1/16 and 1/8) to choose from.
