    Default Jacobs 1.75" minnows

I needed to add some color to my crappie bucket and specifically to the box that baits like these reside in and this morning was cool enough to allow for some dinging around at the bench.

This mold makes 10 baits at a time but I only did 5 of each color with eyes and a hi lite brushing for the camera. The chartreuse is hand poured with the pink injected. The other two colors were done using a Do-It twin injector. I have other natural colors to make but they'll not get eyes or hi lite brushing.

I have been looking at the 3" or 3 3/4" Looks good. Tight work there. Do you dip the heads to keep the eyes on?

These were dipped to the point where the tail splits to cover the hi lite that been brushed on the surface....and to cover the eyes. Plus it helps to bulk up this size of bait a little. I have the 3" too and its one heck of a nice bait too. Great walleye food.

OK I thought the eyes looked like it had been dipped over. I just didn't look that far back on the bait. Very good job and real nice colors.
