Sometimes its a cooling issue too. Try topping off the sprue with a tiny shot of extra plastic before you clean or clear the plastic from the injector.
I would put that extra hot plastic in the sprue all the time. It was amazing to see how many molds will suck that extra plastic down. It stopped the indentations in my lures. Been doing that technique for eight years now. I forget who told me to do that but I'll bet it was Bob Hinkle aka Snake River. We learn a lot on this forum. Pretty soon Fatman will start making soft plastic lures. Right Doug?????

I have redesigned many of my molds for the certain reason that not enough error was escaping we do not recommend anybody to redesign their molds you may destroy what you have but sometimes we do use a very small chisel and cut grooves so the air could escape it usually solves all my problems especially when we were making 2 color baits tail color one in the body a second color what happens sometimes just the mold makers will make the so one-shot deal they are not considering making a 2 color bait you have to make sure that the body gets enough air to escape so if you before you order a mold and you are wanting to make two color baits make sure that you check out the mold before you buy one just make sure that it is properly made so the air could escape in the cavities in the body and also in the tail. also when you are shooting your molds make sure that when you feel the injector that you personal little bit of the plastic backed out before you shoot the mold this way if there is any error in the end of your injector you are pushing it out before you shoot your mold number one mistake with many of the beginners.

Talked to Andy at do it molds he told me to hear the second pour to 360 and inject it slower. Tried this and it helped a lot. Also started asking him if the blue being a florescent type if that matters he told me that the florescent types show colors from the other color more. I know after hearing this looked at the baits from different angles more closely and sure enough. It's not bleeding thru as much as just being transparent. Learn something everyday. Thanks for everyone's help and patience I'm sure I'll have more questions.
