They look fine, be sure to try and cut the tail off at a vent line. This will help getting a nice clean bond. It will be nearly impossible to get them to look like Arkansas Bowhunters, as he is using s tail mold.
But they look good, let me know if you have issues with pouring. be sure to make a date to stop by the shop to.

I rushed these my neighbor cut the tails long he wanted to help! One thing about these molds I wanted to see if I didn't have a twin injector how the venting would work with shooting one side then put the mold together and shoot the wild cat color . I was more than surprised how it performs the cavities filled and although it was rushed and sloppy I wanted to see if it was going to be finicky it was not! This weekend it's calling for rain and hopefully I'm caught up with all the hair jigs I'm tying for customers. Then we will spend time making some stuff! I'm loving this mold and how it performs!

I might could make some lam plates, Arkbowhunt asked me about them as well. Heck i thought you cut the rail and shot with a dual injector anyhow.

I have twin injectors...I can do a true lam. I want to do some core shots to! I need to get settled and pour some duel colors for testing.... When our water levels get back to normal I want baits to fish!

Thats one thing i never mastered was a core shot. Maybe you can show me how to do it right. Lol
I have done core shot here is how you do it either take a piece of tinfoil or get a laminate plate and shoot half of the mold and take a toothpick with some coloring and put a small.of that on the end of the cavity and put the mold back together and shoot it usually with clear plastic on both sides now with all that top information you'll me a free mold

Got ya, thats not really the core shot i was talking about. In general a core shot the first color is hand poured into the sprue. The second color is then injected. The cooling plastic sucks the second color down the center of the bait.
The method you speak of is the Micro Spoons method.
