Thread: Scuppernog, ala Zoom

I had to take this picture for another site so I figured what the heck I'll toss it in here too.

A while back I did an order for a person who wanted something similar to Zoom's scuppernog color. That one stands all alone in the color world but its a darned good color and productive too. Here's what I came up with....



This was done using all X2 colors from Do-It. Everything is from Do-It except the eyes.

4 ounces of plastic with stabilizer and uv powder stirred in. 4 drops of Motor Oil, one drop of red and about 1/2 drop of black. Blue hi lite and blue .015 glitter round out the color.

I made this color for myself a couple years ago to use on dingy days with stained water and its great for that. It has its moments in the sunshine too but does better when the clouds are around or the water has color.
