    Default Soft Plastic Bait Swap?

I know I'm new to the forum but, I noticed in the jig section they do the occasional jig swap. Anyone ever do this for plastic baits? I've been making 1/32 Foxee Jig baits lately and just received my special order 1/32 jig heads from Jamie @ Simply Crappie. After looking at some great baits, I thought ...... why there wasn't anything offered for soft baits. What do you think?

I forgot to mention that I wasn't suggesting that I would host the swap either. Rather that someone with experience with this do it .....

Hosting is not that difficult. Go to the jigswap folder and read the guidelines. easily modified to plastics. I am sure some of use swappers would be available to help you with the process. I do not make plastics, but I know many do and the mold sites I am on are almost all plastics, very little discussion about lead bait molds or molding

Thanks for the encouragement. Looks like I got myself on your current swap list. I think it would be great to get a few more soft plastics in the swap.

    I am 100%

for the plastics swapping I think it's a good idea . we would have a chance to see what each other is doing I think it would be neat to get different plastic baits a sample of them that we do not have and maybe we are thinking about buying that mold this would help a lot of guys should just starting out to see what there are available before they buy a mold they may not like the plastic bait I wish we would've done this a long time ago before I started buying a lot of molds I have molds that I have never ever used inside generally do a lot of collecting the vast majority of my molds are Jacob's we do use his molds quite a bit especially the baby shed stinger which seemed to be a little hot item make sure that you check Jacobs out he has come up with some hand wing screws to go on the molds which I think they are pretty cool it would make it a lot better and a lot faster using the molds also Lakeside molds makes a hand screw with a rubber knob which I really love and I take them off of those molds and use them on the other molds Lakeside is down for a while they are in the process of moving.

I think I will host a swap for plastics after the "Dog Days of August Jig Swap" is over. I don't want to steal someone else's thunder that's going o currently.

P.S. Thanks for the idea for checking out Jacob's Molds. He has some great stuff!

you are very welcome and you would not be stealing any bodies crammed just remembered this is plastics and not hand-tied jigs when you get ready to post for this plastic bait swap that you say it is for custom handmade plastic baits.
