    Default New to plastics!

I just started making plastic lures several months ago. I've just started getting the hang of it, so I thought I would post a pic of one. What do you experts think?

I am glad you are enjoying the hobby. What part of Alabama are you in? I am 12 miles south of B'Ham. I have that stinger shad mold in the 2" size and it is truly one of my personal favorites.

later on you need to get a dual injector to make two color baits . how are you making 2 colors in your mold are you shooting half of your mold and then put it together and shoot the other half or are you using a dividing plate it doesn't look like you are using the plate there are different ways of making 2 colors baits.

Really liking the swelled bellow effect you have going with that chartreuse. Looks like you spooned it in to me.

Drnip your right spooned in. I started with a l. plate but I didn't get the results I was looking for. so I spooned them and it came out with the look I was after. I also dipped them in clear to get a bigger profile.
