    CTom,
Thanks for the pic ..... definitely clarifies what you described. Chartreuse seems to be the #1 color!

I really like the bright colors in either solo or combinations - Pink, Chartreuse, White, Lime, Orange, Silver, Gold -- not a fan of darker colors at all BUT that may be because I have never tried them much. I need to expand my horizons for sure.

Welcome from Alabama. I love the color chartreuseand.
    1) chartreuse and pink
    2) chartreuse and black
    3) chartreuse and aqua
    4) chartreuse and white
    5) chartreuse and chartreuse

CTom, I have a small jar containing 70% silver fine glitter, 15% red fine glitter, 5% light green fine glitter , 5% black fine glitter and 5% blue fine glitter. I use a small baby spoon to put a little in my own personal silver lightening minnow. LOL

That sounds like a neat mix Mike. I have five or six blended glitters I keep on hand that get used in a number of applications. Only two see specific use with one of those the bluegill mix for clear plastic. The other is firecracker....red,blue and silver .015 in equal amounts and is primarily for clear plastic but has been tried in other colors too.

I blend my own. Equal part of each color. I picked up a few empty glitter jars/lids from DoIt and store the blends in those just like the standard colors come in.

Glow/pearl,black/chart,orange/chart,bubblegum/chart,purple/chart. colors matter but what has really set ours apart form others has been sea salt (just a pinch)(tends to make the plastic melt when wet)crappie and other fish hold on longer will swallow the bait and we are experimenting with coffee grounds mixed in our plastic's. (coffee crappie tubes) we cannot make enough of these for our family and friends.Took my neighbor(minnow fishermen) and a good one.He caught more but we caught bigger and before the end of the day was using the crappie coffee tubes and shad.Name: Picture 020.jpg

Has anyone else here on the forum experimented with adding coffee grounds and garlic salt to their hot plastic mix?
