    Default frogs

I hit up a retention pond this morning very early and donated a few of my frog collection to some bass. The ones the fish tore up were done in soft plastic and the two best colors each went south after landing two fish and having maybe five missed hits. Losing those two felt like I cut off an arm so I made up some replacements using a tougher plastic.

    Not identical, but darned close.

Dandy looking frogs there. Keep telling myself I need to get into other fish besides crappie.

Those are some good looking frogs. No wonder the bass hit them. Better to loose to a bass than a stump or snag though.
