In your honest opinion, how does this compare with the jacobs 2.25 size differences aside, any notable action difference or shooting differences (for example I find I have to be particular with the screw tightness of the 2.25 or it dents)

I do not have Jacob's 2.25 silverfish I have the 1 inch silverfish I have no problems with it so I cannot honestly answer you on the 2 inch.
