    Default Tried something different..can you guess what is was?


    I am trying something different. It is a subtle change to what this particular mold was supposed to do....however I think the effect is dramatic. Can anyone guess what I did? Snake River already knows and he isn't telling yet. (He might have forgot "G" since he has been so busy creating new stuff himself. Here is a hint Bob. We talked about this last November and I finally got up enough nerve to try it.

    I don't remember too much but you were using marking pens Mike. tell me a little bit about that mold that you are using .

    No marking pens. I stopped that technique two years ago. Two inch paddle tail mold.

    You took a dremel tool and made eyes in the mold ?

    YES!!!! I took the dremel and made deep socket eyes and a gill flap. Then used heavy foil to make the four mold cavity into an eight mold cavity thus giving the lure more action. I also added a lateral line to the mold but it does not show up well. The deep bulging eyes make it really pop...IMHO
