Default Been playing with colors too

I've been shooting some baits for the walleye box and had to dig out a couple colors I like but haven't shot much of lately, one being the changeable blue crawfish. On the Do-It site this color has been getting some notice in a picture on the site's front page in the tackle shop. Its seen there under motor oil in a crawfish bait. I did it the same in a split tailed fluke. The blue here in the picture is the same blue but with some blue hi lites to make it pop a bit in the daylight. Pop it does.

The wrinkles in the clear coat come about by dropping them in water as soon as I get the drip bumped off the nose end of the bait after dipping in the clear. The clear plastic is still moving when they hit the water. These are personal baits so I am not fussy on the wrinkles.

Nice baits!!!!! Like the purple/chartreuse and the brownish/orange tail - The one pond I fish all the time I didn't do good with blue this year, which is strange cause the trout usually like it but there were only a couple this year and they only took live bait.

No name for this guy. Nothing on the mold to indicate where its origin was either. Its a three inch bait but has some resemblance to the 2 1/2" Small Fry of Do-It design but really quite different. Here's a shot of both the 2 1/2" Fry and this split tail taken looking directly at the bottom of each bait. The differences here are stark. From the side the fluke is 1/4 deeper from top of the back to the bottom of the belly bump. The belly depth maxs about 3/8" further back on the fluke and the fluke body is 3/8" longer.
