    Default pouring problems solved!

A year ago I purchased some Jacob's bait Hal type fly injection molds! I was told I could use collar heads no problem..well that wasn't all together right. the plastic would roll back on the collar after a bite or getting hung on an obstruction.I took one of my old Do it molds and filed collar with JB weld...head was loose and sloppy. I stumbled on this fix..using needle noise pliers and pinched behind the head and then toe nail clippers to remove the lead collar! problem solved! now my soft plastic may be part of the roll back issues but I think I've solved the issue! LB pic included

Yep. But they work better with jigs without collars! Love the molds just needed to understand the collared jig heads don't work as well as a non collared head.

A jig without a collar is what they call a ball head.

Snake when I talked with mr. Jacobs he said they would work with collared jigs . I sent him samples of my heads painted to insure they fit the molds he also made a 1/24th cavity mold just for my heads . my intentions of the thread was just to show how I over come the collared head by removing the collar of my jigs to fix my plastic rolling off the neck. Thanks
