    Couple things Ship.

First, go to a thrift store and find yourself a 6 ounce pyrex custard cup. Mix your dipping plastics in these smaller cups since you don't need that much. They are shallower and take way less time to work with and you won't waste as much plastic.

Second, snoop around in your grocery stores or kmart or walmart and find a package of 6 or 8 inch bamboo skewer used for making appetizer sized kabobs. These are about 1/16" diameter and have a pointed end. They'll cost about a buck and come in packs of fifty or so. Use a nail clipper to nip off the point to the size you want, then just tap the nipped point gently on the table top a few times to blunt any sharp edges fro cutting. The longer sticks help keep those tender human parts away from the cup and plastic but are still short enough so you can control what you are working with.

Mike, when you are ready to sell some, please let me know. Will get some and share a few with a certain person here, who is a Black and Gold fan, lol.

Ok. Shoot me a PM. They are a little pricey due to all three steps in making for at a time. Browns are terrible today.

Mike, the price is okay. I realize that if a person wants something different than the norm, they sometimes have to pony up. Do have one question though. How are the minnows put on a hook, or jig?

    Hey CTom,

Made my own "Skewers" from a 1/4 inch dowel stick. I whittled the end to the size for gills and eyeballs. They are more sturdy and durable than the skewer. Thank you for the idea.

Both. If I put them on a hook then I hook them in the top dorsal fin. If I am using a jig, it will be 1/16th and I thread the hook through the mouth and out the back with the hook exposed.
