ship are you taking a marking tool to make the red line on the plastic bait. and I'm assuming that it is Spike it. I have been too busy to research what you are doing any in the shop will try to come up with something when I get time I will let you know by email if I come up with something that is a lot of tedious work and I'm glad to see that you were getting more involved with plastics you can be pretty creative sometimes.

Thanks. No marking pen is used. I make this minnow four at a time and it is very time consuming. I use toothpick to put hot black plastic into the eye socket in the open mold. Then i use toothpick to put hot blood plastic lines in the mold for gills. Close and clamp the mold. Melt clear plastic to 350 degrees and add silver glitter. Inject this into the mold and apply pressure for about thirty seconds.

Hey CTom,

I do like the toothpick trick. Have to learn not to burn my fool self dipping that tiny toothpick into the pryex cup. I hold the cup with the oven glove in my left hand at an angle however the right hand is bare skin in order to grip the toothpick.


Ouch!!! that burns.
