    Default Crappie Rig

With all the A rig hype I thought i would make one of these to try to catch a crappie or TWO! I know it will work behind the spillway. That is if i can keep the barfish or white bass off it! Ha guess I'll have to break out a bass rod to chunk it. As you can see i just mixed up colors and sizes on this one. I think i would actually put 4 of the same and the one in the middle a different color. Not sure what would be best actually.

Ha you get to see my redneck hanging system in this last pic!:P

I'd leave the colors mixed up because you never know which color they want on any given day. If it works well the fish will tell you which color theyre preferring.Thumbs Up Looking forwards to reading your reviews about how well it worked (or didnt).

That should work or eith make you work LOL. Are you going to run it under a planner board so you can keep the depth right or just pull it. I would hate to get the rig hung up. Nice work.

wish I knew what materials to use and how to make one because I would try it. I fish two jigs at a time sometimes and caught doubles on my last two trips. It would be nice to catch 3 or more at one time. I like your hanging system too I never thought of that but it looks like a great way to me. I always spend so much time trying to lay mine out striaght. Do you dip them in water first or just hang them?

Wow someone on the va board posted something like that, dont they use them for rockfish in a little bigger size??

Heres the question I really want to know... what kind of rod/reel are you going to chuck that thing with?

Id longline that, but I usually run at .9mph....even at 1.2-1.5mph or so it would run deep!
