jaxsprat, I think snake mainly does not put any in his and just uses pam in the bags, not completely sure but I think that is his method. I use anise oil in a lot of mine, however I have not known of it to make a difference. It is expensive and I have caught as many fish without it as I have with it. When my supply runs out I wont be ordering anymore. I am not sure if Baitman uses it or not. jaxs have you noticed that it has worked better for you? I have only had one experience that I can remembere where scent helped and it was the liquid minnow and slab sauce that is sold here, it seemed to help one day we used it.

Maybe a little off subject but do u or snake? put any flavor like anise oil or such in baits?

Yes, I use a combination of 3 scents that I have found to work.
