I had a freezer out in the sideshed on the shop that was full of fish...of course we lost power etc. when the storm took the power poles down in my yard and tore the meter base and weatherhead off of my shop. Anyway....I could not clean the freezer out right away because a hive of honey bees had built in a plastic barrel next to it that I had been raising mealworms in , so I could not get near it. I finally got ahold of a bee keeper and he came and got all the bees....now I am waiting untill tommorrow to clean out the freezer....I am hopeing maybe less stink after its all refrozen....I doubt it though....its gonna be a stinking mess. Wish me luck , lol
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

looking fwd to see what you come up with....alot of the local lakes here are so flooded that we can not get in to fish, but theres a few we can, been fishing alot, had a heck of a day fri using the icicles and tubes you made.....we caught alot of solid sized fish, but nothing huge, biggest was a 13 inch female, we had alot of 11 & 12 inch males, was a fun day....any way looking fwd to seeing what you come up with next, have a great one, God bless

Got four estimates. Praying it over. Will make a deciison by Friday on whom to choose. I keep three gallon milk jugs full of water in my freezer at all times so that when I want to go fishing I have ice for the bucket I put the fish in. That is the only reason my food did not spoil the five days without power. Those ice jugs kept the freezer cold.
I still do not like the way people are being ripped off with higher prices for everything and the looting. I have a sign in my yard. "You loot...I shoot!"
As I said before, our damages were nothing like in Pleasant Grove, Pratt City in Birmingham, or Tuscaloosa. We were truly blessed if all we needed was a roof and a few cracked bricks repaired...tuck pointed...and just yard and debris cleanup.

thewhat you call small is big to me if we catch fish 13 and 12 we are happy but we do catch a pot of fish around eight in nine I'm glad that the icicles are working for you I haven't got around to seeing you anything new. I haven't felt like doing anything really in the shop but we will eventually make you up some stuff to try out. We want you to try out some weed less jigs that are hand tied you see what you think.

you were talking about people looting where I live, Mike people still leave their doors unlocked and we are welcome to go and and sit down and wait for them and make ourselves a cup of coffee that is one beautiful thing about where I live. But of course every now and then. We have some crazy person that comes along. They do not last long here because our neighbors are pretty watchful though we are far apart but we know everything that goes on like you said if they are there to take something they might wind up in heaven. I wouldn't want to mess around on too many ranchers around here at night. I'm afraid that you will get some buckshot.

you take all the time you need Bob....hand tied weedless sounds like a great idea....its funny what I call big they would scoff at down south, big in crappie fishing is a relative term, went out again this morn from 7am till noon, the shallow bite was on fire until 10:30, smoked them on the icicles till the shallow bite went away....that bite shut off like some one turned a switch off....from 10:30 to noon I trolled crank baits looking for a big-un.....caught decent #s and the biggest was 12in....had alot of good fish on the icicles, had some good 11in males and several 11 1/2 to 12 females.....was a fun day.....God bless all
