Just a quick update, I saw some, sure look like these, at Academy. 99cent for 4 or 5 with 2 jigheads.

Try southern pro tackle. They have one called minnow tube. It sounds like what you are looking for.

don't know if you are still on crappie.com are not but those plastic baits are called crappie slugs in they are made by southern pro

Look up Bobs Jigs in the crappie business section at the top of the page. He pretty much does it all.I've found him to be a man of integrity and honesty.
