Yeah, I've seen them on big water too. They were bigger...I guess because they had miles of unobstructed water over which to gain strength. This had no more than 50 yards from the point where it hit the water until it went by my boat.
Even if there had been time, I have the feeling that would have been like feeding my line into the prop of the TM!
