Thanks for sharing! That's some serious equipment and she's getting excellent shots. Has she captured ospreys & eagles diving to catch fish?
Hi folks.....just found this thread....I don't normally venture too far from the Louisiana home page......my wife is an artist and started going out on the boat with me to take pictures to paint....she does not like to fish but eating those crappie (sac-a-lait in south Louisiana) is another story.....she started with a point & shoot but the limited zoom soon moved her up to some better equipment....now, she has so fell in love with the photography that she has practically given up on the painting.....she has taught herself (still learning)everything including photoshop (and some other stuff ?) for the digital enhancement of her pictures.....most are taken handheld from our boat....anyway, I thought you guys would enjoy some of her pictures...some of these I had already posted on the Louisiana forum....

my avatar is an Osprey carrying a just caught fish.....
we watched this Bald Eagle dive down and pick up this bird (Comorant) and fly off.....we followed it for 1/2 mile and watched it stop in a tree and and eat it.....I believe the 3rd picture above is it....
the two Pelicans diving together is a very rare photo opportunity I am told....
