Has anyone ever tested the dissolved oxygen in their livewell and lake? The hotter the water, the less dissolved oxygen it can retain. Since livewells take water from the upper (hottest) section of water, I'm wondering is it better to circulate the livewell or take on fresh water from the lake. I'd also like to know the oxygen difference of circulating water versus running a bubbler. I've never tournament fished, so I've never had to worry about it.

There is just something about those night summer tournaments that is deadly different than day tournaments.
It is because of photosynthesis which is produced during daytime for the most part and the wind is generally lighter during the night so less oxygen is created in the water from turbulence.
